Here’s an interview with the CEO of the RR2 Capital where he shared various thoughts relating to Titan Hunters, crypto markets, and their investment thesis.

1. Tell us more about RR2 Capital?

RR2 Capital is a VC investment firm that focuses on startup investing. Our main area of interest is in the blockchain space, particularly in Web3, which encompassed the most exciting parts of DeFi, NFT, Gaming with p2e, and the metaverse. We have already made significant investments into layer1 solutions. However, as the industry matures, we are now focused on getting exposure to the new layer2 based Dapps.

2. What are your current predictions for the NFT and crypto markets in 2022?

NFT will very quickly evolve away from the obvious ‘’cool jpeg’’ narrative. The real use cases for NFTs are becoming more evident as they get used, for example, in play2earn games. NFT will become the de facto technology in the future for proving ownership in the digital world. But, we are only getting started!

3. Why did you invest in Titan Hunters?

There was an immediate sense of familiarity with Minecraft, and I have three young sons who love that game, so when you add the p2e & NFT element to that, well, it just seemed like an obvious selection! And we enjoyed meeting and working with the team.

4. How do you think Titan Hunters can revolutionize gaming?

If there is a constant assessment around what players want and hope to get out of play2earn gaming and keep iterating based on that, they will continue to be a great success. Giving the player absolute control over their ability to earn in a cool and fun way is awesome!

5. What is your thesis around NFT projects as an investment?

Pure NFT plays can be very seasonal. NFT with use cases in game, staking etc makes it way more appealing and we are seeing great initiatives with games using their NFTs with DeFi type application. It will continue to evolve like this to bring more awareness to the versatility of a NFT.

Not every NFT project will be successful at attracting customers. However, with good practical solutions of NFT and decent implementation, the game would become way more appealing to the audience. In order to attract more people, the project itself also needs to be flexible and adapt to the changes and innovations within the industry.

6. What is your most anticipated feature in Titan Hunters?

In the near future, Hunter Ranking. Competitive gameplay is what will draw the most gamers to a video game. If you look back to the mobile gaming phenomenon known as Flappy Bird, you will know how much of an impact a leaderboard has on people.

7. What are your expectations from Titan Hunters for 2021?

Maintaining community engagement at a high level. There is a constant stream of upcoming NFT video games with numerous ideas and innovations. Therefore, the Titan Hunters team needs to be proactive and agile in their PR and marketing.

8. Final question: What is your score in the Titan Hunter demo game at https://play.titanhunters.io/?

Not that high, really. Almost 2,000 if I remember correctly. I could not survive for long in the boss fight :( But it was fun, and I think it definitely has potential for a video game that everyone can enjoy.
